Hiring Now for Summer 2023 Lifeguards!
We are looking for responsible individuals who will ensure a safe, clean, and accident-free environment for our patrons this summer. Employment is scheduled to begin Memorial Day weekend, and run through Labor Day weekend.
- Requirements and responsibilities include valid lifeguard certification
- To properly maintain and monitor the pool environment so it meets CDC and local health guidelines
- To maintain a clean and safe pool environment through proper cleaning
- Take admission, monitor capacity limits
Requirements/Qualifications:
- At least 15 Years of Age
- Have or obtain American Red Cross Lifeguard & FIRST AID/CPR/AED Certifications
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Ability to work summer holidays, weekends and evenings
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
Responsibilities:
- Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the water
- Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
- Able to act quickly and appropriately to secure the safety of patrons in the event of an emergency
- Present a professional appearance & attitude; maintain a high standard of customer service
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned (pH and Chlorine water testing, Vacuuming, Skimming, etc.)
- Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures
- Able to follow routine verbal and written instructions
