Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic digital marketing intern who will join our team to provide creative solutions to achieving our goals. As a Digital Marketing Specialist Intern, you will execute on digital marketing strategies then demonstrate the impact of our efforts through data collection and presentation. Your contributions will maintain, develop, and expand our clients’ ability to attract new customers.
The Digital Marketing Specialist Intern is responsible for assisting in the implementation of Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Merchant Center (shopping) strategies for clients. The Digital Marketing Specialist Intern must understand context, display, video, shopping, and search engine marketing trends as well as industry trends that will contribute to the goals and success of client campaigns.
Qualifications
Position Requirements / Responsibilities:

Create Google & Bing Ads strategies that include Context, Display, Video, Shopping and Search

Create ads and paid advertising campaigns on Google, Bing, Facebook, LinkedIn and other platforms for clients

Manage social publishing efforts to retain and grow social account following through increased engagement

Create landing pages, short videos, and other content for campaign promotions
-
Assist in the development of inbound and content strategies
-
Manage Google & Bing Ads campaigns in order to optimize conversion and minimize cost

Calculate ROI and prepare monthly digital marketing campaign reports
-
Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives in order to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities

Provide Google & Bing Ads analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structures of websites and web pages
-
Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with paid search goals, general and keyword specific
-
Write blog posts and other on-page content for digital marketing campaigns
-
Keep pace with search engine marketing industry trends and developments
-
Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports, and keyword reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance with client goals

Analyze competitors and integrate findings into marketing efforts

Administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools) for purposes of diagnostic reporting on client projects

Execute search engine optimization for client websites
-
Consult with clients about their business goals and propose solutions and strategies that meet their needs
-
Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels

Manage local listing efforts for clients
-
Communicate with team and management on project development, timelines, and results
-
Work closely with team members in order to meet client goals
-

Solid understanding of various marketing techniques

Basic familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tolls, Google Analytics and Google Ads

Proficient in Google Workspace (GSuite) and Microsoft Office

Due to the nature of not only working in the agency space but also working for a company that prides itself on its incredibly intelligent team, all applications for this position must be accompanied by a writing sample. - Internships require 12-16 hours per week and last for 12-16 weeks
