DESCRIPTION:The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) serves as the voice for business at all levels of government. The Business and Community Advocacy Council (BCAC) is a nonpartisan\, pro-business advocacy organization comprised of GRCA member businesses and other affiliated Berks County organizations. The BCAC helps to formulate and execute the policy and legislative positions of GRCA and support a broad range of initiatives in Berks County and beyond. The BCAC meets every second Friday at 9 am to review emerging legislative and policy issues and network with fellow business leaders\, legislators\, and their staff. Meetings often have a guest speaker\, which has included members of the PA House and Senate\, US and PA Chamber\, federal and state agency leaders\, and local government officials. \n\n \n\nTo become a member of BCAC\, you can either become a GRCA member at at least the Innovator Level or you can be a GRCA member at any level and become an Advocacy & Community Leadership Series sponsor. The ACL includes our headlining advocacy events such as the Commissioners' Update\, the Congressional Conversation\, the State Legislative Update\, and other events. ACL sponsors receive free tickets to ACL events\, recognition at all advocacy events\, and other benefits. \n\n \n\nPlease consider joining GRCA's BCAC. Our intent is to lead\, advocate\, educate and inform members on the various issues that will affect them. We build effective relationships with our elected officials and others to be part of the process and promote our pro-business policy agenda focused on our economic vibrancy. We pride ourselves on having diverse voices at the table and welcome all perspectives.
