IMAGINE Berks is an action plan for the county and its partners to identify key principles\, goals and metrics to foster the future of our community.\n\n\n\nBerks County is a welcoming community that supports an exceptional quality of life\, including robust businesses and industries\, a rich cultural heritage and a resilient economy.  Our population is growing both in size and diversity\, creating momentum for an even stronger\, more vibrant and diverse economic future.\n\n \n\nImagine Berks focuses on five key areas to help shape the future of our community:\n\n	Growing Industry\n	Addressing the Need for Housing\n	Supporting Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses\n	Fostering Talent Development and Opportunity Jobs\n	Supporting Creative Placemaking\n	Encouraging Strategic Infrastructure and Land Use Development.\n\n \n\nThe planning process has continued to emphasize the importance of celebrating and supporting our county's diversity so that all Berks residents may prosper. It has also reinforced the need for municipal collaboration across the region.\n\nThe IMAGINE Berks plan was developed in partnership with Fourth Economy\, a community and economic development consulting firm based in Pittsburgh. Over the last several months\, County and Fourth Economy staff have engaged stakeholders all across the county in varying industries\, locations and backgrounds.
