DESCRIPTION:State of Education Series: Summer 2020\n\nGRCA + Rebuild Berks in partnership with BCIU\n\n\n\nThis is the first of a three-session webinar series. Please make sure to also register for our other two dates in the series: July 22 + July 29.\n\n\n\nSuperintendents from Berks County's 18 school districts\, the two career and technology centers\, and Berks County Intermediate Unit Executive Director Dr. Jill Hackman have been working together to map out a reentry plan for staff\, students\, and faculty.  The goal of the effort is to make collaborative decisions and implement protocols consistently across Berks County schools\, while allowing for safe reopening.\n\n \n\nThe outcome   "Workplace Readiness Essentials Roadmap: Berks County Education Framework for Reentry" document   provides guidance to schools in key areas\, including human resources\, operations\, education and student services\, technology\, and special education.\n\n \n\nJoin our guest speakers to learn more about how this will impact our County's 70\,000+ students and their families.\n\n \n\nSpeakers:\n\nDr. Jill Hackman\, Executive Director   BCIU\n\nDr. Steve Gerhard\, Superintendent - Governor Mifflin School District\n\nDr. Randy Grove\, Superintendent - Conrad Weiser Area School District\n\nEllen Albright\, Director\, Talent + Workforce Development   GRCA.\n\n\n\nPrior to the online event\, a Zoom link will be sent to all registered attendees.
