DESCRIPTION:See Net Zero Energy in action at Regenerative Energy Initiative's free community Open House on Wednesday\, October 7\, from 10 AM to 7 PM in Schnecksville\, PA.\n\nVisitors are invited to explore our Net Zero Energy Building and see how energy efficiency\, renewable energy and smart building technologies work together in a real-world setting. Mini tours will be offered throughout the day\, giving guests an opportunity to learn more about the building's systems and features.\n\nWhile you're here\, meet the Regenerative Energy Initiative team and learn about our work advancing energy systems that renew\, revitalize and regenerate. Visitors can also explore our educational learning space and learn about opportunities for building tours\, educational programs and community involvement.\n\nElectronics Recycling: Bring eligible unwanted electronics for free recycling from 11 AM to 1 PM and 4 to 6 PM. Computers\, monitors\, televisions\, printers\, gaming systems\, phones\, cameras\, stereos and many other household electronics are accepted. Please visit the event webpage for the complete list of accepted and non-accepted items. Visitors who need to drop off electronics outside the designated recycling hours can submit an advance request.\n\nFood Truck: Queen V Wraps Food Truck will be on site beginning at 11 AM\, with food and drinks available for purchase.\n\nThe Open House is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged but not required. Families\, students\, educators\, business professionals\, community organizations and anyone interested in energy and sustainability are welcome.
