Actively engaged in leadership and service\, she currently serves on the board of the Reading Science Center and the Women2Women Research and Development Committee. Stankiewicz is a counselor-in-training working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is a former student-athlete and a graduate of Delaware Valley University\, where she earned a degree in Counseling Psychology and Criminal Justice. She currently serves as a member of the Delaware Valley University Alumni Council Board. Stankiewicz has professional experience working within the Berks County Jail\, supporting individuals in the drug and alcohol program\, as well as experience in an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment setting.
