DESCRIPTION:Join us for our monthly networking event where you will meet professionals representing many businesses\, organizations\, and community groups. Wednesday Diversity Mixers are the most diverse events in Berks County representing all types of backgrounds\, generations\, and professions. This is a free event so bring a friend or colleague! Beverages and refreshments always available at no cost. To keep up with our new locations and events\, please visit our calendar. \n\n\n\nOur title sponsor Fulton Bank will be hosting this month's mixer at the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading.\n\n \n*Special Addition* \n\n\n\nWe are also partnering up with Penn State Berk's Professional Writing students who will launch their most recent published book\, "Our City Inside Out: Changing Perceptions of Reading" that features many local Latino Community leaders including our very own Small Business Director Jobany Bedoya. \n\nThe book attempts to replace negative perceptions with more accurate\, positive stories of the city and its people. In the vocabulary of higher education\, this type of project is referred to as critical community-engaged scholarship\, social-justice focused and reciprocal and collaborative in process and outcome. Guests of the Wednesday Diversity Mixer will receive a free copy!
