Imagine Berks: One Year Update
Last summer Berks County unveiled its strategic economic development action plan, IMAGINE Berks. That strategy identified key principles, goals, and action steps to foster the future economic vitality of our community.

Vision:  Berks County is a welcoming community that supports an exceptional quality of life, including robust businesses and industries, a rich cultural heritage, and a resilient economy.  Our population is growing both in size and diversity, creating momentum for an even stronger, more vibrant, and diverse economic future.
 
Implementation of the Imagine Berks plan is focusing on five key areas to help shape the future of our community:

• Supporting Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses
• Fostering Talent Development and Opportunity Jobs
• Supporting Creative Placemaking
• Addressing the Need for Housing
• Encouraging Strategic Infrastructure and Land Use Development.
