Calling all small businesses in Berks and Schuylkill Counties! The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA), the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce, and the National Federation of Independent Businesses are joining forces to offer a Small Business Policy Forum with members of our state delegation. This special event will focus on state policy and regulations affecting the ability of small businesses to operate in PA as well as the barriers to opening and growth. PA ranks 4th in the country for starting a small business due to access to funding and resources for entrepreneurs, but it ranks in the bottom tier of states for small-business tax climate on top of issues with permitting, workforce, housing and childcare. Attendees will also get the chance to ask questions of the legislators in attendance following the panel.
This event will be held at The Wherehouse, 215 Pine St., Hamburg, PA. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m., and the panel will kick off at 8 a.m. Registration is $40/person and is member exclusive to members of GRCA, Schuylkill Chamber, or NFIB. GRCA members should use this registration. Members of Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce and NFIB should register through their websites.
The following legislators have been invited:
We hope you’ll join us for this special event focused on the needs of small businesses and the roadblocks you face to growing your business and opening new businesses.
