Join Josh A. Pollet, CPA, Michael J. Hermes, CPA, & David W. Stonesifer, CPA from Herbein + Company for a discussion on the CARES Act.
On Friday, Mar. 27, President Donald Trump signed the most expansive economic stimulus package in American history – the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act – into law. The CARES Act provides economic relief to businesses through the creation of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), an expansion of federal loan programs, and several federal income tax provisions that affect businesses. The Act is generally intended to enable businesses to continue operations and pay employees during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Greater Reading Chamber Alliance members - businesses, sole-proprietors, self-employed, independent contractors and non-profits - can benefit from Herbein’s in-depth understanding of the implications and opportunities of the new law. This webinar will dig deep into the recently enacted CARES Act and its programs designed to provide assistance for businesses impacted by COVID-19.
