Lammers Microdrill, a valued Client of Hubric Resources, is a small business consisting of a core group of individuals who have over 30 years’ experience building and using small metal bond diamond tools. Lammers prides themselves on building the finest quality small tools on the market.
Lammers is seeking a skilled Lead Machinist to join the team. As a Lead Machinist, you will perform and oversee manual and CNC machining operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety throughout the production process.
Day to day:
- Operates fabrication machinery to produce parts used in manufacturing processes.
- Reads and interprets blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and specifications for parts.
- Selects the appropriate cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to be used on machines.
- Examines and measures complete units and parts to identify any defects and to ensure units conform with predetermined specifications; adjusts machine controls to resolve production errors.
- Inspect machinery for any repairs needed; performs minor repairs within expertise.
- Other duties include soldering, brazing, and sintering using induction heating.

Required Abilities:
- Must know how to operate various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining.
- Must have the ability to read blueprints and plans.
- Must have excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able trouble shoot and solve problems.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational/technical school training and apprenticeship required.
- Two (2) years’ experience working as a Machinist. Some CNC machinist required.
- Supervisory skills preferred.
