It's time for The Dinner! The largest gathering of business leaders in Berks County. The evening features a nationally known keynote speaker and the celebration of several awards.
Please join us for this fantastic evening and celebrate the award recipients of the Business Excellence Awards. The evening promises to be filled with entertainment, great food and the opportunity to network with over 700 business neighbors.
Tonight, we spend an evening with Candace Nelson - serial entrepreneur, NYT best selling author, Wall Street Journal contributor, angel investor, TV personality, executive producer, wife & mom - who will be sharing her SWEET SUCCESS with us! Based on her latest book, Candace is sharing the recipe for success in her new book, Sweet Success: A Simple Recipe to Turn Your Passion Into Profits. She is an expert in turning one's passion into a profitable business and will share the inspiration and actionable tools to transform your dream from passion project to business venture. By revealing the mistakes and lessons she learned while building Sprinkles, Candace breaks down the barriers to entrepreneurship to pave a path forward for a new generation of changemakers.
The conversation with Candace Nelson will be moderated by Freddy Vasquez, owner of FXV Digital Design, Inc., a local Berks business. Freddy is also the host of the Fred Talk Podcast which has produced over 75 real and authentic interviews with local community members. Hailing from Long Island, NY, this self-made entrepreneur has called Berks County his home for 10+ years. With over twenty years of marketing experience, Freddy started making waves in 2016. He quickly made a name for himself with his clean and unique style and passion for community involvement, especially in non-profits such as The Awesome Toy Drive, which he founded in 2019. Freddy lives in Wyomissing with his wife, Jill, their daughters, Angie and Adrianna, and their furry kids, Chloe, Lucas, and Otis.
