Fall Forum 2024
From Pastries to Packaging:
A Sweet Story of Creating a Best Place to Work
The GRCA's Family Business Alliance is proud to host its annual Fall Forum, a platform where we hear firsthand the journeys of local, family-owned businesses. This year, we’re honored to welcome Heather Chandler, President of Sealstrip Corporation, a packaging company that has earned a place on the Best Places to Work list for 16 years running. Growing up with entrepreneurial roots—her parents owned a bakery—Chandler learned early on the dedication it takes to succeed. Some might say that thriving in business requires being part of the “lucky sperm club,” but Chandler attributes her accomplishments to the strength, vision and leadership of her mother, who was the president before her. Chandler’s story offers a compelling look into family legacy, hard work and creating a workplace people love.
