Kristi Gage-Linderman (GAGE Talent & Business Solutions | Gage Personnel)
As a third-generation family business leader and COO at Gage Talent & Business Solutions, Kristi and her team are dedicated to helping both companies and candidates thrive. With a deep-rooted commitment to our community both professionally and personally, Kristi actively serves on various boards and committees, including the GRCA Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce & Industry Board, RACC Foundation Board, Reading Hospital Foundation Board, Berks Business Education Coalition Board, Literacy Council of Reading-Berks Board, and Fulton Advisory Board. Driven by a genuine passion for connecting people, Kristi's vision is to continue building opportunities for success by unlocking the potential of today’s workforce, both within our community and beyond.
Brad Stephenson (New Castle Lawn & Landscape)
At age 14 Brad started his career shearing Christmas trees at a local tree farm. He has now spent more than 30 years in the green industry that he loves. A 1994 Governor Mifflin High School alumnus, he is also a graduate of the Berks Career and Technology Center’s (BCTC) Horticulture program, earning the Outstanding Horticulture Award in his senior year. Upon graduation, Brad worked at a few companies to hone his management skills before joining New Castle in 2005 as a “laborer”. In 2014, he earned the position of partner, and now is now co-owner and CEO of New Castle Lawn & Landscape. Brad’s passion lies in building teams of great people and in challenging individuals to grow. With 92 employees, he and his team have implemented a mentorship program helping local high school juniors and seniors to explore landscaping careers. Brad is a Certified Behavioral Analysis Consultant and a DISC Certified Instructor and a member of business groups that help push him to always challenge himself. Brad has been a guest on various industry round tables, advisory panels and podcasts presenting and speaking on topics ranging from tech integrations to team building and culture. He was recently named the recipient of the “2023 Impact Award by Vistage,” the world’s largest CEO coaching and peer advisory organization for small and midsize businesses. The Impact Award recognizes the remarkable development and achievement of trailblazing leaders. New Castle Lawn & Landscape was also acknowledged as one of “Best Places to Work for in PA” by the Central Penn Business Journal. Brad is also passionate about giving back and is active in many non-profits which includes serving as a regional board member for the Caron Foundation and is on the John Paul II Center for Special Learning board. His mission is to impact as many lives as he can both personally and professionally.
Melynda Wagner (Simply BOLD)
As a small business owner, Melynda’s passion for connecting with others over coffee and conversation led her to opening up her cafes. She relies on her background in marketing, business development and leadership to attract new talent, train staff and connect with the community that she serves daily. In October, she celebrates six years in the coffee business and restaurant industry. As the “fast casual” restaurant business model changes and steadily evolves utilizing technology & automation to speed things up, Melynda continues to focus on creating a friendly, personable & trusting team culture that relies on each other to deliver great service and a consistent product to the customer.
