Justin Spannuth | Unique Snacks
Justin Spannuth is the Chief Operating Officer of Unique Snacks and a member of the sixth generation managing the 104-year-old family business. He is also the Chairman of the Board for SNAC International, the global trade association for the snack industry.
Joining the company in 1999, Justin has held various roles over the years. That experience taught Justin the importance of a servant leadership style, and that prioritizing the growth, well-being, and empowerment of his employees creates greater opportunities for the business. Under Justin’s leadership, the company has generated double-digit growth for the last several years and continues to be an industry leader while also introducing new, innovative snack products. Justin has led the product development lifecycle to introduce several popular snacks including the Sourdough Craft Beer Pretzel Rings, Pretzel Shells, Puffzels, and others.
Upholding the traditional family values the business was built on, Justin has furthered Unique Snacks’ commitment to the community. In addition, Unique Snacks supports other local and family-owned businesses, as well as sponsors multiple annual events throughout the community.
Unique Snacks also conducts an annual campaign to raise funds for the national nonprofit, Folds of Honor, an organization that creates scholarships for the spouses and children of wounded or fallen military service members and first responders. In 2024 alone, Unique Snacks provided more than $100,000 of support to local and national organizations and nonprofits focused on supporting the arts, education, and businesses in the community.
