- Workers’ Compensation: Understand the fundamentals of workers' compensation, including coverage, reporting, and the importance of maintaining a safe workplace.
- Vacation, Sick time, or other Paid Time Off (PTO): Explore best practices for managing vacation, sick, and PTO policies, addressing accrual, usage, and approval processes. You’ll learn how to make sure that you do not accidentally classify these fringe benefits as wages either. Further, many surrounding states require paid sick leave; learn about how to overlap state-mandated sick leave with these policies.
