The Power of Saying No
Start your year with strength, clarity and a little inspiration from one of Berks County’s most respected women in leadership. Join Women2Women as we welcome Cheryl Heckman, owner and manager of Manor Golf Club for nearly 28 years, for a conversation on The Power of Saying No — and how setting boundaries with confidence can transform the way you lead.
In a field long dominated by men, Heckman has built a career defined by expertise, composure and the ability to say “no” with authority and grace. She’ll share real-world stories from nearly three decades running one of the region’s busiest golf courses, along with practical insights for women who find their ideas overlooked, their voices talked over or their authority questioned.
Expect to learn:
-
How to say no with confidence (and without apology)
-
Strategies for being heard in male-dominated or high-pressure environments
-
Ways to use your expertise as the foundation of your authority
-
Tips for navigating pushback while staying composed
This event is perfect for anyone looking to start 2026 with stronger boundaries, clearer communication and a renewed sense of personal leadership.
