Workplace Foundation Skills Training
Your most valuable resource is your employees. Companies who upskill their employees enjoy greater business growth because they have more engaged and satisfied employees. This is why developing the foundational skills of your employees is so important and should be an integral part of your company's strategy for success in a post-pandemic world.
The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) has developed a program to meet the needs of employers that are looking to create and sustain a high-performing workforce, which demonstrates effective communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills. GRCA's new program specifically targets employees with the foundational skills supervisors and managers are looking for in their workforce.
The Workplace Foundation Skills Training program will prepare your employees to build a culture of excellence leading to higher job satisfaction, more confidence and stronger engagement among employees to develop new organizational capabilities.
Participants will learn the following skills:
- Effective communication techniques including effective listening and how to write more effective communications, including emails
- How to manage conflict in a positive and professional manner
- Build and utilize basic emotional intelligence concepts to improve interactions with peers and supervisors
- Implement problem solving concepts to address work issues
- Examine and apply keys concepts and techniques in being an effective team member
