Abilities in Motion
- Non-profit Organizations
Abilities in Motion has been helping individuals with disabilities achieve their life’s goals for almost 30 years. AIM works to match services and support with each person’s unique needs, lifting quality of life and engagement with the community to new levels.
All goals are personal goals. AIM staff takes the time to understand what each of our consumers want out of life. They help develop the resources, build a support network, and plan out the steps to reach those goals.
Since 1989, AIM has provided the supports and advocacy that empowers people with disabilities to live independently and self-direct their own services. Abilities in Motion continually strives to broaden services, widen reach, improve quality, and increase awareness. AIM has grown each year – expanding into new regions, offering new programs, and increasing numbers of people with disabilities served.
The goal of AIM’s programming is to increase awareness, collaboration, and opportunity among people with disabilities. AIM’s services provide people with skills, knowledge, and resources that empower them to eliminate damaging and stereotypical notions of disability so that they are able to strive toward realizing their full human potential.
We are advocates. We are supporters. We are specialists. We are friends.
