About Us
Since 1894, Hope Rescue Mission has been a place of refuge for the homeless men of Berks County, PA.
We shelter over 1,000 men every year through four residential programs that allow men to work while they transition back into the community as productive and independent individuals.
We have expanded our mission withThe Lighthouse Women and Children's Center, which opened in 2023. The LightHouse offers women and children an environment of safety, dignity and compassion while they are getting back on their feet.
How you can help:
• Order items from our Amazon Wishlist and help provide essential items to those in need at Hope Rescue Mission!
• Host a clothing drive at your school, church, or workplace! We’re always in need of seasonal clothing at HopeThrift.
• Ask your business or organization to participate in HopeWorks. HopeWorks matches individuals in our program with employment opportunities within our community! With your help, HopeWorks can continue to be a life building program for so many deserving individuals.
• Give back to your community by volunteering at Hope Rescue Mission! If you’re an individual, group, or business, we would love to hear from you.
