Reading, PA – The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance is thrilled to announce that Alex Roché, GRCA’s Director of Advocacy, has been appointed to the Reading Housing Authority (RHA) Board of Commissioners. The term begins next month and ends in 2031.
“"It is an honor to work with the Reading Housing Authority in this new capacity. The Housing Authority played an important role in the beginning of my career, giving me an early appreciation for the importance of quality, affordable housing and its impact on individuals, families and our entire community,” Roché said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to now serve as a Board Commissioner and give back to this organization. I look forward to working with the board, staff, residents and community partners to build on the RHA’s work and create greater opportunities for the people of Reading."
In his role at GRCA, Roché leads GRCA’s legislative agenda and advocacy initiatives while keeping members and community stakeholders informed on regulatory changes and community matters.
“We are proud to see Alex take on this important role and represent GRCA as part of the conversation around housing in our community,” said Aaron Gantz, Vice President of Economic Development & Strategy, GRCA. “Access to quality, attainable housing is critical to a strong workforce, thriving communities and long-term economic growth. We look forward to Alex bringing his perspective and commitment to collaboration with the Reading Housing Authority.”
