Stonersville Fire Company Flames, Inc. is excited to announce a free 8U girls fastpitch softball program for the 2027 season at Trout Run Sports Complex in Exeter Township.
The beginner-friendly program is designed for girls ages 6–8. No previous softball experience is required. Our goal is to remove the financial and equipment barriers that can prevent young girls from trying fastpitch softball while helping them develop skills, confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game.
Each registered player will receive a complete uniform and essential softball equipment, including a glove, bat, helmet with a face guard, and fielding mask.
The program’s planned schedule includes:
• Player fitting and equipment day in late January or early February
• Instructional workouts during February and March
• Outdoor practices and games during April and May
• An end-of-season tournament in late May or early June
The Flames plan to organize as many as six teams, with approximately 8–12 players per team. Space will be limited.
All activities will be held at Trout Run Sports Complex, 950 West Neversink Road, Exeter Township, Reading, Pennsylvania.
