Job Summary: The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for supporting the growth of Our generosity home care agency by building and maintaining strong relationships with referral sources, engaging with the community to promote services, and assisting with client outreach and enrollment. This role involves healthcare marketing, relationship-building, and patient outreach within the home care industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Outreach: Promoting home care services through presentations, events, and visits to relevant locations, representing the agency at community events, and providing community education. This also involves organizing outreach events, distributing marketing materials, and utilizing community websites.
- Referral Development: Building and maintaining relationships with various referral sources such as hospitals, other home care agencies, assisted living facilities, and physicians.
- Lead Management: Following up on referrals, conducting home visits, supporting enrollment, and assisting with the intake process.
- Marketing Execution: Coordinate participation in health fairs, community events, and presentations. Develop outreach materials and support the agency’s brand visibility. Utilize social media (such as Instagram) to promote events and community engagement, showcasing the agency’s presence and involvement.
- Private Pay Market Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the agency’s presence in the private pay market, including building relationships with potential clients and referral sources that cater to private pay individuals and families.
- Reporting & Strategy: Tracking outreach activity, reporting progress, helping achieve marketing and enrollment goals, maintaining records, evaluating the success of outreach efforts, and developing marketing and PR strategies.
- Relationship Management: Strengthening existing relationships and cultivating new ones with healthcare professionals.
- Administrative Duties: Performing administrative tasks such as overseeing mailings, organizing travel, and monitoring budget information.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in marketing, sales, or business development, ideally within the healthcare or home care industry. Experience in community outreach or patient relations, preferably in a home care or senior services setting.
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills are essential. The ability to work independently, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also important. Familiarity an understanding of Homecare, Managed Care Organizations, and a customer service focus are often preferred. The ability to build relationships and confidently represent the agency is crucial.
- Other Requirements: A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for outreach activities are typically necessary. The role may also require a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
