Reading, PA – The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) today announced that the nomination period for the 2025 Building Berks Awards is officially open. The biannual event celebrates construction projects that have added to the economic vitality, transformation and growth of the Greater Reading community. GRCA will accept nominations for projects completed within the last two years, with a completion date on or before July 31, 2025. A diverse panel of judges will evaluate projects based on economic and community impact, design and aesthetics, innovation and other key criteria.

- Agribusiness
- Building Systems
- Commercial
- Education
- Healthcare
- Historic Preservation/Restoration
- Hospitality
- Industrial
- Infrastructure
- Mixed-Use
- Placemaking – public space, public art, etc.
- Residential
- Sustainable Development
- Out-of-the-Box
The deadline for project submissions is Wednesday, July 9. To learn more and submit a project, visit greaterreading.org/buildingberks. Winners will be recognized at the 5th Building Berks Awards & Trade Expo from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts.
